Amritsar: A 40-member delegation of foreign nationals, who have adopted Sikhism, arrived in Amritsar today. The delegation has come to participate in the 350th Parkash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh that will be celebrated on January 2 at Patna Saheb Gurudwara.

Executive director of the North American Punjabi Association Satnam Singh Chahal, Surjeet Singh Cheema, director, Guru Teg Singh Bahadur Public School, Hazara, along with SGPC officials greeted them at the airport.

The delegation will visit different religious places in Punjab, and will proceed to Patna Saheb gurudwara for the 350th Parkash Utsav celebrations. Twelve members of the delegation are from China, 12 from the US, three from Argentina and one each from Italy and Russia, Switzerland, Canada and England.

Excited to be a part of the grand celebrations, they expressed their happiness over the hearty welcome extended to them. The members of the delegation will be honoured by the SGPC at a ceremony on Wednesday.
